Tropical Hurricane Wilma

The national Weather Storm Center will be tracking hurricane Wilma on their weather tropical storm tracker with satellite photos and full motion video. They will be using new tracking software and super computer weather monitoring systems looking for surface water temps, infrared, buoy readings and hurricane hunter information to track the eye wall wind speeds and category of winds. These technological advance prepare populations for potential powerful storms.

As a tropical Storm and tropical depression Wilma, looked innocent enough. Indeed, no one was really worried, but now she has grown into a hurricane and that means she is dangerous. How dangerous? Maybe not as bad as hurricane Katrina or Rita, but bad enough to be paying attention to her potential.

Wilma is the last named storm of the Season before we start on the Greek Alphabet Letters, Alpha, Beta, Gamma, etc. This has been indeed, a record breaking hurricane Season and it is not even over yet.

florida has not had the devastation yet this 2005 hurricane Season like it did in 2004, but that does not mean we are out of the woods by any means, as some of the most deadly hurricanes in US history have come out of the East and made a direct beeline for the State of florida. Wilma is a different lingering type of opportunist, but do not be so quick to count her out just yet. Think on this.
